The T’Sou-ke Health Department is committed to supporting the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our community members. We offer a wide range of health and wellness services designed to meet the diverse needs of families living on and off reserve.
Partnering with organizations such as NIȽ TU,O, Sea to Tree Health and Wellness, and the First Nations Health Authority ensures our health programs are rooted in holistic, person-centred care, respecting the teachings of our ancestors and the diverse wellness needs of our members.

What is this service? Weekly sessions for those who need assistance with personal care such as bathing safely, getting to appointments, companionship, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and other day-to-day activities.

What is this service? Assessing and addressing current mobility challenges to strengthen and increase mobility with Dr. Donna Ogden. These are done on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

What is this service? A one-day monthly clinic to access physician services. You may access this service regardless of whether or not you have a family doctor. Booking timeslots usually happens around the beginning of each month.

What is this service? Reflexology provides relaxation, eases stress and tension, and helps with general wellbeing. It can also reduce pain and improve circulation and muscle tone.

Caring for your mental health is an important part of living a healthy, connected life and can be easily overlooked when things get busy or challenging situations arise. Accessing counselling services can help you navigate difficulties, build resilience, and prioritize your emotional well-being.
T’Sou-ke Nation partners with Sea to Tree Health and Wellness to offer in-house counselling and wellness services every Tuesday at the Health office for T’Sou-ke Nation members, their spouses, and their children.
Individuals are encouraged to book ahead if possible, but are always welcome to drop in if and when needed! The Sea to Tree staff are kind, knowledgeable, understanding, and here to support you.

The T’Sou-ke Health department supports mothers through prenatal and postnatal stages, as well as fathers and caregivers, by providing program supports to aid in early childhood development. Health staff support members with parenting skills, positive lifestyle changes, access to resources and support, and more. A prenatal/postnatal voucher program is available for members living on reserve.
Currently, our Maternal Child Health Worker hosts a monthly five-and-under ‘Book and Breakfast’ program which invites moms, dads, and caregivers together for a morning playgroup.

In partnering with NIȽ TU¸O Child and Family Services Society, T’Sou-ke members and their families have access to a family support worker every Friday from 8:30 to 4:30 via NIȽ TU¸O’s mobile office.
NIȽ TU¸O is passionate about ensuring Coast Salish children remain with their families and in their community. They work with children, youth, parents, and all families through family strengthening programs and support services, offering a variety of counselling services, group workshops, and other programs to help families, children, and youth lead healthy, connected lives.

In addition to standard heath services, the T’Sou-ke Health department offers a wide variety of events and programming for T’Sou-ke members and their families.
60+ Elders’ Lunches are held monthly and serve as a wonderful opportunity to come together, catch up, and share a meal. These lunches vary from casual at the Band Hall to fun-filled day trips around the south island!
Community dinners are also hosted monthly at the Band Hall, and all T’Sou-ke members and their families are welcome to join.
Events like Fun Day and holiday breakfasts bring the community together on a regular basis, and cultural activities like beading and weaving classes are offered, ensuring our community feels culturally connected.
